Town Board Meeting The Town Board Meeting for July 9, 2008 was called to order by Chairperson Leon Schraufnagel.  A motion was made by Ed Emmer and seconded by Jeff Faber to approve the agenda for the July 9, 2008 meeting.  The motion carried. A motion was made by Jeff Faber and seconded by Ed Emmer to approve the minutes of the May board meeting and dispense with the reading.  The motion carried. A motion was made by Jeff Faber and seconded by Ed Emmer to issue Operator's Licenses to Aimee J. Kohn, James R. Neitzel, Jean Keller and Kathleen Ringle for the period July 9, 2008 through June 30, 2009. All licensees are employed by Dennis Fell.  The motion carried. There was discussion regarding the discontinuance of several single purpose roads which had been discussed at the June board meeting.  The Clerk was asked to contact Attorney John St. Peter and request that his office handle the necessary paperwork to resolve this issue.  The letter we received earlier from John St. Peter was not sequential enough for the board or Clerk to understand.  The initial step will be to have the Clerk contact MSA to obtain certified surveys of the roads for the attorney to use in the ensuing process. Randy Dittberner informed the board that Bob Young submitted a bid to re-strip the parking lot for a cost of $65.00. A motion was made by Ed Emmer and seconded by Jeff Faber to approve the bills and payroll in the amount of $17,682.39 through check number 13067.  The motion carried. Marcia Valle presented the Treasurer's report for the month.  Assessor Erma Franke advised the board of Land Use Permits for Elsinger Farms for a barn; Michael Zimmerman for a shed; Richard Zitlow for a new home; Daniel Michels for a calf barn and Kristy Stommel for a home addition. There were no other reports from other members of the board. A motion was made by Jeff Faber and seconded by Ed Emmer to adjourn the meeting.  The motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 7:45 P.M.
