Please note that Dodge County Highway Department will begin resurfacing work on County Highway H from County Highway Y to State Highway 175 starting in early May.

The work consists of culvert replacements, intersection grading, milling and pulverizing the existing pavement, placing new asphalt over the pulverized surface, curb and gutter at some locations, gravel shoulders, and pavement marking. Preparation work by Dodge County has already been started. Roadway work should be completed by late-June, weather permitting. Center Drive may be closed temorarily while culverts are being placed or when the intersection with County Road H is being paved.

Please note: when the new asphalt is being placed, the paving vehicles will occupy the entire width of the roadway so there will be no access to the roadway during that short period of time. This will last a few hours until the new asphalt is ready for traffic. Other than during the placement of the new asphalt, access for residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained during construction.

Please take notice that the Town of Lomira enacted Ordinance No. 2024-01 Amendment to Chapter 14 Building and Mechanical Code at their regular monthly meeting on April 17, 2024.  The ordinance adds SPS 314 Fire Prevention to the Wisconsin Administrative Code sections adopted by the Town of Lomira and is effective upon posting.
