ATV/UTV Route Signage
The Lomira Town Board has adopted an ordinance establishing ATV/UTV routes in the Town of Lomira. Before riders can use the these routes, signage is needed to provide guidance on what route the riders can take. The costs for signage and installation is estimated to be approximately $5,000. The Lomira Town Board has asked that the signage costs be raised through private donations, not through local taxes. The Kettle Moraine ATV Association, a non profit organization, has helped the Town of Lomira and surrounding areas to organize and guide us in this process of establishing routes and raising funds for signage. Linda Wittnebel, a Town of Lomira resident, has been instrumental in soliciting local donations.
This will benefit many riders from all over Wisconsin and will help support local businesses. ATV/UTV riding is a fun recreational activity that is rapidly increasing in our area.
If interested in donating, please send a check payable to Town of Lomira - ATV Fund. Send to: N10479 County Road AY, Lomira, WI 53048. A donor receipt will be sent back to you within the week.
Thank you for your consideration of this worthy cause.
